Health & safety guidelines

At The Secret Collective Ltd, your safety and wellbeing are our priority. As a shared salon space with self-employed professionals, we ask all clients to follow the guidelines below to ensure a safe, comfortable experience for everyone.

Before Your Appointment

  • Patch Testing:
Some treatments (e.g. lash lifts, brow lamination, tinting) require a patch test at least 24–48 hours prior to your appointment. It is your responsibility to attend where required. Failure to do so may result in your appointment being rescheduled.

  • Health Conditions & Allergies:
Please inform your stylist of any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or recent treatments that may affect your service.

  • Illness:
If you are feeling unwell (including cold, flu, infections, or contagious conditions), please rearrange your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if necessary.

  • Punctuality:
Arrive on time to avoid disruption and ensure full treatment time. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or rescheduling.

During Your Appointment

  • Consultation & Consent:
All treatments are carried out by independent, self-employed professionals. You will be required to complete a consultation and consent form directly with your stylist prior to your treatment.

  • Hygiene Standards:
Each stylist is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in line with UK regulations.

  • Personal Belongings:
Please keep your belongings with you at all times. The salon is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

  • Children & Guests:
For health and safety reasons, we kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests or children unless agreed in advance.

  • Behaviour:
We maintain a respectful and relaxing environment. Any inappropriate or disruptive behaviour may result in your appointment being terminated.

After Your Appointment

  • Aftercare Advice:
You will be provided with aftercare instructions specific to your treatment. Following this advice is essential for best results and safety.

  • Reactions or Concerns:
If you experience any adverse reactions, please contact your stylist directly as soon as possible.
